Take to the skies from Kajjansi airstrip and fly out across Lake Victoria to Ngamba Island, a tropical island and home to Uganda’s rescued chimpanzees. On touching down on the island you will be taken to the visitor center where you’ll be given an educational orientation from staff from the chimp sanctuary on their work and the rescued chimps. You will then be guided to the feeding platform where you can partake in feeding the chimps, which will emerge from the forest.
You will then return to your helicopter to fly to Lagoon Resort on the shores of Lake Victoria for a first class lunch. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing on the beach or by the swimming pool, take a guided community walk, play a game of volley ball or take one of the kayaks for explore the shore line along the bay.
In the late afternoon you’ll leave the resort to make the short fight back across the water to reach Kajjansi airstrip before dusk.
